So I've had this frog for about 6 months, guessing he is around 7-12 months old. He really isn't growing. I feed him every other day 4 crickets(thoese really small ones) Should I try and bump it up to 6? Or what? Thanks!!!!!! (He is a White's Tree Frog)
I would feed larger crickets. How big is your frog? You should copy and paste the questions from the "Trouble in the Enclosure" sticky on here with your answers so we can make sure there is no other reason he isn't growing much. There are many reasons a frog might not be growing.
1-size of enclosure-25 Gallons
2-# on inhabitants - specifically-1
3-humidity-30-50( I need help keeping it up!!!)
4-temp-70-85
5-water - type - for both misting and soaking dish-Spring
6-materials used for substrate-Coconut Fiber
7-enclosure set up i.e. plants( live or artificial)-Bamboo, than fake
8-main food source-Crickets
9-vitamins and calcium ? ( how often )-Once a week
10-lighting -60 Watt
11-what is, specifically, being used to maintain the temperature of the enclosure-Lighting/Heat in room
12-when is the last time he ate-Yesterday(Hasn't been fed since than though)
13-have you found poop lately-Yep
14-a pic would be great ( including the frog ) any little cell phone pic is fine
15- how old is the frog- Had him for 6 months
16-how long have you owned him-^
17- is the frog wild caught or captive bred-Petco bought
18- frog food- how often and if its diverse what other feeders are used as treats- very rarely mealworms(if pet store is out of Crickets
19- about how often the frog is handled- Never
20-is the enclosure is kept in a high or low traffic area-low
Help!!!!
I have three whites and I've had them for 5-7 months and I feed them 4 small crickets (about 3/8 inch) a day and I dust them every other day or so. I used to dust every day because they came from Petco and I just didn't know what kind of nutrients they were getting. Some days they might get more if they are looking kinda skinny. The past few days I've been alternating their crickets with calci-worms because we have a cricket shortage, and they seem to really like the worms.

I definitely recommend dusting more often than that. I dust with calcium a little more often than every other feeding and use a multivitamin once or twice a week. Your frog may not be getting enough calcium or vitamins and therefor for not growing.
With the humidity, I feel your pain. The winter months make it very difficult to keep it up where it needs to be. I strongly suggest you cover half or more of the top of the tank with plastic wrap. I use scotch tape to keep it tight and in place. If you have the funds you could buy an automatic mister to automatically keep the humidity up. I just mist like crazy when I'm home and keep a close eye on it.
Hmmm... how big is he? My male is fairly small, about 2.5 inches from vent to snout. I believe males are typically smaller. My male eats only about 3 crickets every other day. The crickets are the medium size, maybe 1/2 inch or so.
A picture would help.
Also, your white's low weight could be related to his infection on his leg. Or parasites? A vet visit is still in order, a fecal test is also a good idea.
If you need help on how to get a fresh stool, let me know.
But first, find a vet

He is like way smaller than he looks take the image of the cage and than look.
He looks like a good weight, I wouldn't worry about his size. He doesn't look too skinny, and has a good color.
