I have a Zilla 20 long ... This is NOT made to be used as a full on tank and can only hold 3-4 inches of water ... I would like to know what can happily be housed in here? I do not want to have to deal with UVB bulbs and such ...
Any amphibians or even fuzzy animal ideas are welcome.
I have already had hamsters and mice lol but other than that any low maintenance pets not needing UVB
Btw I am just deciding if it is worth it to keep this tank ( I know some of you have seen my threads that I have one tank cycling and one in the works )
Well, I suppose you could keep mudskippers. They require a very similar setup to frogs, and you can find them at petland. If I were in your position, though, I'd be off buying a pacman frog in the blink of an eyelove those frogs.
Arachnids such as a whipscorpion can be costly but rewarding.
Honestly, I think mudskippers or a frog of the Rana family would be good. They're usually small and require water, but not that much. They're also fun pets. I don't suggest a bullfrog, even the juveniles of that kind would probably require a larger tank.
My Amphibians:
1.0.0 Rana Catesbiana (Bumpy Digtoad )
1.0.0 Pseudacris Regilla (Levi )
1.1.0 Ambystoma Macrodactylum (Urtham and Gargan )
2.2.0 Bombina Orientalis ( Rosa, Sasha, Aleksis, and Dimitri )
Rest in Peace, Gnag the Nameless, Chrome, and Thermidor
I have a 20L zilla critter cage laying around too (along with a couple of 10 gallons). I've been contemplating getting a couple of fire bellied toads.
I decided to sell it and start working on an Axolotl tank if we have room when we moveI am excited ...
