    If I lift the lids on my PDF tanks I get that earthy, dirty smell rushing up into my nose. That smell comes from having an enclosed area with limited ventilation and an environment with soil, plants, and decaying matter. As long as the tank is a balanced environment I don't think it should matter.IMHO

    BTW...do Whites Tree Frog do better alone or with another individual?

    I think they work well either way
