    Default Is this odd?

I've noticed Skitter doing something kinda freaky lately after he eats I'll try my best to explain it. He eats only small crickets I would say they are around 3/8", just the right size to fit between his eyes. Lately instead of just closing his eyes real hard to swallow he does this sort of head circle. He closes his eyes, and widely circles his head from side to back to side almost touching his back with the top of his head. When I first noticed it I thought it was a seizure but he is perfectly fine right after.

The only thing I could think of was he got a mouthful of crickets and it was too much to get down. Anyone else ever see this?

That does seem kind of odd... At least I've never seen my frogs do this. Hopefully someone who might know what's going on will chime in soon!

I'm going to try to get a video of it. I've seen him do it twice now in the last month. He actually opens his mouth when he does it so when I first saw it I thought he was getting ready to shed.

I have seen my frogs do this time to time.. and they are fine! I believe it is just them chowing down too fast or the cricket being slightly too big, yes it may fit into the correct size but hey its 'throat' may be a wee bit smaller than average!
