I went STRAIGHT to the tank and rearranged EVERYTHING. I'm putting pics up in a second. Sheldon is NOT happy that I made him move. lol He was in a nice cubby hole that took him forever to build! But i cleaned it out and added more substrate from the side of the tank I'm not using.
The last few were to give you the idea of what he looks like RIGHT now... he looks healthy to me...
looks mad lol and healthy too, just keep an eye on him, i think he was just shedding. totally cute baby you got here, love the color too.
did you manage to keep temps and humidity constant and at needed levels? i would move that rock thing to minimize space even more. he is a little baby he is just scared of big open space. when you do it just leave him be so he could adapt to his home.
the other thing - your 5%UVB is very bright and not necessary, would you find low voltage regular lamp bulb that you can use?

You gotta remember I used a DSLR camera so it does pick up light more than other cameras. And Until I get my other Fixture so I can have 2 going, I am using a combo of 75wat infared at night and a 60wat Regular basking light. Since my bedroom is in the basement it gets really cold so a 75wat is the only thing that keeps the temp up. And tomorrow when I go to the petstore I'm going to buy another rock wall type thing to push it over more that way the hot side and cool side don't become one. So tomorrow he will be pissed off at me again! Sorry little Sheldon!!! Oh and since our room is SOOOO dark and my fiancee sleeps at night, there is NO light getting in his tank during the day. so to maintain the 12hr day/night I need some sort of light. I'm anxious to see what the 5.0 looks like tomorrow.
Just an Update, I think he likes his tank better now. He has jumped out from his hut and buried himself in the OPEN ground! Not hiding in his hut anymore!!!!!! I went and bought some Meal worms and some nightcrawlers, just to offer him so other things. I hope he starts eating. I'm still worried about that.
Well damn. Good thing He didn't eat the one I tried to give him when I got home. :-/ Alright, I'll cut up some wormies for him to eat then. When Should I be worried about him not eating? Since hes so tiny. I found my receipt and can always take him backBut I like him...
don't take him back, he will be just fine, just look at the mansion he has now
as for eating, he gotta figure out that he is safe in his home, he needs time, it may be a day, may be a week, he got round happy belly, he will be ok. You can do crickets at first or roaches if he is not tong trained, for some pacs it is difficult to eat worms from the ground and if they're not tong trained, they won't eat it like that.

For now try small crickets and Waxworms. Waxworms are only to be used as a treat so offer him only one. Just sit it in front of him and leave him be. These are nocturnal frogs so he should be offered food at night and any lighting in the room should be dim or off aside from his night time light during this time. Be sure to remove the hind legs from the crickets before offering them to him.
It has been too long for one so little, but give him time. Keep offering food. If he doesn't eat in the next couple days let us know.
Thanks for all the helpI am hoping he comes out tonight. I went out to buy him some crickets, When I came home, he had COMPLETELY covered himself up. I hope he's ok. I offered him a bit of night crawler while I soaked him in a little bowl of room temp water, he didn't eat it, But good news.. I did put him back in the tank, and he went straight for his water dish! I closed the tank off a little more, Pushed the BIG rock closer and added a huge plant (fake) in one corner near his hut to make it look even smaller. I got his OFFICIAL daytime light on. I think part of the reason is, He hasn't had the right 12hr on off of day and night, it's been sparatic. So I'm hoping hes just confused but now that i have everything set up, I really hope it helps! I also got a lid! So i'm gonna wrap half in foil to help the humidity and heat. But I know they completely bury themselves when they need to regulate temps. So i'm hoping thats all it is.
or they would bury themselves completely when they want to be left alone. don't touch him, you can uncover his head and throw some crickets in a tank, but don't take him out, don't soak, he needs time to feel safe, it won't happen if you do something to him all the timeeverything sounds great in your set up now, good job!

that is a good plan!

no, too young to tell, you need to look for nuptial pads on middle side of thumbs, they look like a moles, at first white and will turn dark as a frog matures, they will appear or not when he is a bit older.

I would LOVE for it to be a girl because i want a BIG one!!!!!! lol Is he just a C.C or something else? And do you know about how big a male gets?
HE ATE!!! HE FINALLY ATE!!!!! He ate 2 nice sized Crickets!!!!!! I picked 2 of the bigger ones from my small crickets and he ate them right on down! The second one he swallowed kinda hard but hey! HE ATE! It was so good to see him jump from his little hole and right back when he got his food! YAY! And this one is a very fast little guy!
here you go, happy for you!
