they are mating and their buts are sticking so im 100% sure they are mating and also if the egg hatches wont the nymph jump away from the container?or should I cover the critter keeper with cheese cloth and secured with a rubberband??? they also have coco peat for them to lay egg and should it remain moist?this is my first time having these pets breed!!! any help would be appreciated thnx.
Do you keep all of your pets (frogs, insects) in open containers outside? I think you need to invest in some latching/locking/closing containers (properly vented) You are posting about your mealworm container becoming infested with ants... Is there really no where inside to keep your pets? If you are able to bring them inside you will NEED proper homes for them but I think they would be much safer. I do not think cheesecloth with a rubberband is sufficient. Check out this thread:
