not sure if this is the right place to post this but i had a question about waste remover so theres flukers eco clean and nutrafin turtle clean. so are these the same thing/? i know its just bacteria that feeds on fecal matter but would this be safe to use in my fire belly setup? i have a 40/60 and cleaning the whole thing is not necessary every week but cleaning the water is i was wondering if this would prolong the time that water can stay in there even if only for a few day as its a pain to just clean out the water side.
do you have any pics of your setup? I dont know if this will work in your situation but, I used malaysian trumpet snails to help break down waste in my planted aquariums and springtails and iospods to help break down waste in dartfrog vivariums.
Digg is correct. Snails would be helpful. They aren't going to prolong your maintenance much, but a little. Do you have a filter in their aquatic section? Or do you just rely on water changes?
