    Default A hybrid spawned. Really?

Caatinga x ornate hybrid spawned. Male did not breed her but she still spawned.

Its a big step towards f2 babies. I just need a large caatinga or ornate male to breed to her next time.

What did you do to stimulate her to spawn?

No this was just a test to see if she would lay. Fantasy pacman frogs won't lay. This type of hybrid lays. I'm going to breed her with a caatinga or ornate in the summer. So the babies will be 75% one species and 25% another species.

Awesome! Guess your instincts were right on this one Mike. Too bad the male didn't produce.

Ornates and caatingas are both octoploid species. Thats why i believe that the babies should be fertile. Wont know til I get another male. The male I used is too small.
