I have been researching ADF tanks and I have a whole supply list and I have almost everything down ... however I keep getting conflicting information on how many gallons each frog needs I have read everything from 2-3 in a 1 1/2 gallon ( which I would NEVER do) to 3 gallons per frog
Although you can cram a bunch of those guys into a 5gal, i think 1.5 to 2 gallons per frog.
thank you i was thinking i could only have 3 in a ten gallon ... now i just have to decide if i want a 5 or 10 gallon
i purchased a 5 gallon ... how many would you recommend keeping in it? i usually understock my tanks
Whenever I have done ADF's I always over stock. They don't mind the company, the question is water quality. That being said I am usually a nut about it. Last go around I kept 4 females and 3 males in a 5.5 gallon species only heavily planted tank. Lasted almost 3 years until some "guest'" children played with the heater and cooked them. They use to breed often and I raised some babies. I still miss those guys.

was only thinking up to two and MAYBE a mystery snail just to clean up after the frogs I don't want anything that will really compete with them for food
