Based on my work with amphibians in zoos and with my own collection, I’ve set down some ideas on effective filtration. But the choices are expanding these days, so I’d like to have your thoughts on these and any types you favor, thanks, Frank The Best Filters for Axolotls, Clawed Frogs, Newts and Other Amphibians That Reptile Blog

being a long time aquarist, i am partial to canisters and submersibles. i use one or the other in all my paludariums. but i truly believe that for pure naturalistic filtering power, you cannot beat an algae sump, or better yet, and planted sump.
