This morning, I woke up to check on my little Eddie (white tree frog) and discovered for the first time since I've had him that he has burrowed into the ground and covered himself with moss. Because he is so young (and a male) I ruled out nesting. Is this a spring thing? Should I uncover the moss that is over him? Is he trying to tell me something?
What are your humidity levels like? It's my understanding that this is usually a sign that the air is too dry

How long have you had Eddie? What are you temps and humidity? Could be stress, too hot, or to humid...
The temp is at 82. It was most likely the humidity, because I recently sprayed his habitat, and within the next couple of minutes, he poked his little head out from the moss. Oh, and I have had him for about 5 weeks. Thanks for your replies!
