A tadpole out of the spawns from december. It is growing ok but here's the kicker. It has one red eye and one black eye. Looks alittle weird. I'm not going to get my hopes up that it survives but a very neat tadpole!

How cool , I do hope it survives. It will be interesting to see grown up :-)
Now this is very interesting! A literal half Albino. I definitely want to see how this one turns out.
I have not seen or heard of that happening ever with amphibians or reptiles, Dogs/cats/people sure. Hmmm, keep us updated
Mutant??Good luck Mike hope he survives..
Mike,
I can't wait to see the mutants breed. Post plenty of pic.
Oh I will. This isn't a mutant but a accident.lol I'm not sure exactly what its called but its half albino half normal.

its a "Harvey Dent"
Thats going to be absolutely awesome if it survives! It looks sort of similar to the "Two-Faced" """"morph"""""" (I use that term very lightly here) from TFR. Either way, really cool biology going on there! If the tadpole doesn't survive you should think about donating it to a museum collection.
Good luck!

I am going to seperate it today from the others. He will have a better chance that way.

heterochromatic very awesome hope he survives as well
He's neat. I'm sure he will be a special animal. He's about halfway through the tadpole stages.

thats a keeper, Badass!
more like one in 2000 at this point =P
Very cool! Hope he makes it and you can breed him!
awesome work Mike :-)!!
Don't give up yet- I hatched a leopard paradox albino like this, and to my surprize it even breed and was fertile ;-).
So, keep my fingers crossed for you :-)!!

Very interesting frog Mike. I encourage to read some books on genetics in herps, as you have A LOT of variation here that you're going to want to breed for in the future I'm sure! The "half albinism" is very interesting because in a lot of cases it is actually a "chimera," which means it actually is literally 2 frogs that combined into one in the embryo, unlike paradox morphs which still have black eyes.
