    Exclamation Stinkbug culture

    anyone ever cultured these bugs , the stink bug I caught from my trip was brown marmorated stinkbug and placed her in a container and when i went home it have eggs!! now can I culture them?? she also died after laying eggs...... Can I culture them is it possible?

    They would probably be very easy to culture them. One bad thing I have actually tried to feed them to my animals and every one of them took it in there mouth and spit it back out. The species i gave them to are; pacman frog, American bullfrog, cane toads, and African bullfrogs. These are some of the most prolific feeders out there and will go for anything that moves and they all spit out the stink bugs and wanted nothing to do with them. Not to mention the stink bugs shell is indigestible. so even if they did actually eat them and like them, they wouldn't get much out of them.

    then what animals would eat them? will turtles eat it? or fishes? and will they poop it out or is still undigestable?

    I have no idea what would eat them. I am sure birds would. As for turtles and fish I havent a clue i do know that most fish use sense of smell to find food and turtles do as well. But frogs are the most indiscriminate feeders I have ever seen and they spit them right out. You should experimate and post what eats them.
