Well, if you are getting a adult white (dumpy) tree frog, pick it up by its stomach or body, then put it in your other hand to cradle its hind and front legs. If you are getting a young white tree frog, ease it into the feeling of being held. Whatever you do, do not shake it off or make it feel rushed. Let it naturally leap off your hand.
