    Default Hiding Mantellas

My Mantellas seem to hide a lot. I make sure the temperature stays below 76 F, and goes lower in the evening. Their humidity is fine, I added more leaves and such today to make them feel more secure so I will see if that brings them out. Any tips are getting them to be more bold and active? I have only had them about 2 weeks now, so they are still adjusting.

They really need to get used to their situation - in some cases this can take months (or not really at all). Give them plenty of cover and don't muck around inside the tank much or at all and be patient.

Yes, I agree with the other guy. I just recently bought myself 4 Madagascar Mantella expectata and I noticd they were hiding alot. I fixed this by feeding them regularaly and not going into the tank to make something look better. I did this for about a week and a half before I started to see them all in the areas.

I love expectata! Hey could you please post your country and location in your profile? It would help us to help you better.
