Thank you both! I'm actually not concerned about the shipping because I have prime and it will be free, and if it's damaged amazon can keep shipping replacements until we get a good one. I don't really have the option of purchasing locally, I live in a small town and they don't carry these big tanks, besides amazon is cheaper. I was more concerned about the really tall glass doors on those little hinges but if you have 2 of them and like them Lynn, I will take your word they are good tanks .
Lynn, what do you use to keep your tank warm? Mine will be in the living room so I only need to heat it less than 10 degrees above room temperature. I already have the infra red hood lamp, and was thinking about putting a UTH or two on the back behind the background. Will that work?
I'm going to build in a false bottom, and am trying to decide if I want to start out with a pond type feature in a corner with some filtration. Is that complicated to run? Otherwise I will stick with the daily changes of the water bowl. I already have the mist king ordered and on the way, will arrive next Friday.
Any other advice is appreciated.
