    Default Hi, from NS

Hey, from Canada's east coast! I just got a few Dendrobates Auratus, and i'm building a viv for them, so expect plenty of questions from me. I've done a lot of the elements of dart frog keeping before, like rainbow boa humidity, but the whole package should be a new challenge. One already escaped on me and is currently hidden frog jerky somewhere in my house. First lesson: fast

Oh, I'm so sorry to hear that
I'm sorry to have to welcome you to Frog Forum after the obvious loss of a frog.
Unfortunately, desiccation occurs very quickly if you are unable to recover them really fast.
    That's sad.

D auratus are very shy - they will hide a lot , especially if they are not adjusted to a new environment.
They are easily stressed and don't like their stuff messed with .

    Good luck with the others
