May I respectfully suggest that you might closely examine and/or consider trimming the little (center) points on your 'brom" plant?
Our sweet little red eyed tree frogs are not the sharpest tools in the shed.
I picture him diving right into it .Sometimes they can be , well, really dumb !!!!
