You can use it as said in the first picture "add appropriate worms" and also coco peat is deadly(when it swallowed large numbers) to your frogs , and also nightcrawler eats humus using their mouth so it mean that they eat the coco peat and when your frogs eats it , it will have hard time digesting the nightcrawler because of the coco peat in the worm's "gizzard" and will also fall onto your frog's stomach and the frog will have hard time digesting or cause your frog to be problem common problem is impaction when your frogs eat it up , im not very sure if its deadly but it would stick up on the food when feeding it....but when a few are swallowed it would be fine my rana erythraea died of this it swallowed alot of coco peat while grabbing some cricket and mealworms. should be fine if swallowed a few numbers , but to answer your question yes it is safe to use for your nightcrawlers.
