    Default New Chubby/Painted Frog!

After going to the frog exhibit, my boyfriend said I could add a pacman to my collection. (Of course I didn't have the patience to wait for the local reptile expo, so I bought this guy!) His temporary name is Ignacio. Since I put him in his habitat I've only seen him once so I'm glad I took these photos of him :/

Kate instead of moss use Eco Earth Coconut Fiber. If some is accidentally ingested by you frog he will pass it rather than possibly becoming impacted by the moss which can cause death.

He's quite the looker. Very nice.

Huh, I thought the ingestion/impaction risk was referring to preserved moss that is not rooted. Thanks for letting me know!!

Kind of makes me wonder how frogs can survive in the wild if they can't eat in their natural habitat without dying. (This is not intended to sound as snarky as it does lol sorry)

I honestly wouldn't worry about him eating the moss. chubby frogs are very gentle eaters they use there tongue much like a dart frog. If the prey item is to big then they move on to the next. Thats the reason i choose to feed smaller prey. BTW this moss is dead natural moss live moss would be much to heavy and strong for most frogs to eat and most will spit it out by the time they realize its not food.
