My 20g vert is just about up and ready to grow in and this weekend I'm picking up 4 tadpoles. What kind of tadpoles you might ask? Dart frog tads I say. What type of dart frog tads you ask? Why thumbnail tads I reply. What type of thumbnail? D. Ventrimaculatus tads I say. What morph you inquire? Arena Blanca.
These are my dream thumbnail frog but so darn pricey. Beautiful coloration and good variation. Bold and beautiful. I'm so excited.
Here are a few of the possible variations:
I have a post somewhere, either here or on Dendroboard that I mentioned this exact frog as being on my extreme short list of "dream" species to get!!!
Good luck! I hope yours turns out to have that extreme red.
you lucky bastage!! consider me very green with envy!!! lol congrats ed!!

I'm so overjoyed. Hey happy, there's a guy on DB that's actually selling the tads. If you have the room, I can pm you his email. He said he has more. I'm picking up a quad of tads in hopes of ending up with a breeding group.
And Bill, I'm going to be quite close to your neck of the woods. The DB guys are having a get together at a ecowall greenhouse in Florence nj. I'm taking a ride and selling some springtails to finance my tad purchase.
While organizing my viv, getting leaves out of the pond etc. I found more tads in the pond. These suckers won't stop breeding. If anyone in the local tristate area is interested in Epipedobates Anthonyi Santa Isabel tads, hit me up. These guys are guys are going to need homes. I've got a quad on reserve for a buddy (he knows who he is). The rest are up for grabs. We can work out a deal.
when are you going to down here Ed? maybe we can get together and break some bread, shoot the $hite and talk froggies. florence is about 25 minutes from me.
