RETF trouble with shedding....should I intervene?

My little girl Tulip has a piece of skin toward her vent, it looks like it's wrapped a bit tight. Should I try to intervene or wait another day or two? I just noticed it yesterday. She's acting normally and everything.

I can't take a pic b/c I can't find my camera!

You could give her a luke warm water soak to soften and loosen it. Just about 10-15 minutes should help. Otherwise I'd just let her get it off. No need to pull it.

Hmmm, yes, give him a soak. Send me a pic after the soak. Put a drop or two of plain honey in the soak of you have it. I'm starting my frog chores now. Takes me about an hour, then I'll be back on. Hopefully it'll loosen. If not, you may have to do more. Very odd how it rolled up like that. I don't like that it squeezes him.

I dipped her in lukewarm water with a drop of honey. Took her a minute to calm down so I could hold her there. I was able to gently rub the skin off. I'm relieved and hope she is too!

Great job! She may like a gentle regular rinse/soak to remove the honey. She should be fine now.

when rubbing off skin for my leopard gecko I typically used a warm soaked cotton ball. Maybe this will help in the future for your frog?

What may also help is ....a little mist just before lights out as red eyed tree frogs will typically shed just after that; sometimes within minutes. This moister environment will help ease the sledding skin off its body.
