I just bought a new fire bellied toad three days ago and my other one that I've had seems scared of him. I'm not sure on the sex of either of them but the one I've had hasn't been moving very much and stays on the land while my new one is in the water. Any possible reasons of why they don't seem to be getting along? He used to get along with the other frog I had and they were always by eachother, so I'm not sure why he won't go near this one.
Also before I got the new one and he was by himself for about a week, he was hopping all over the place and wouldn't stay still at all.
Is he still eating?

most likely, the frog is just acclimating to it's new inhabitant. if i just tossed Matthew into your home unexpectedly, you might feel the need to stay still for a couple of days too ......LOL your frog will most likely be fine. just give it time![]()
