Is flourish by seachem safe for firebelly newts?

So I have a 10g with 5 firebelly newts in it, I use the tank as a de-snailing tank. I put all my new plants in there for a few months to make sure that any hitch hikers don't make it into my other tanks, and my firebellys are more than happy to make sure they don't. Now my question is has anyone (Bill ) used flourish by seachem and if it would be safe for my little ones? Oh and the photos is for them to climbed out of the water when they want.

i have used it for many years. not any longer, i go with a dry fertilization system now. i can dial in my plants needs better that way. but for a general fertilizer, flourish is the best. i used a few others, but flourish has always been the best of the liquid ferts. as far as being safe for your newt, not sure. i can tell you that it is 100% fish and shrimp safe. i even used it in a tank that i had very delicate sulawesi shrimp in, and no probs. so, if i had to guess, yes. ironically, a planted tank friend of mine stopped by yesterday and we discussed that very same thing. with the exception of being frogs and fertilizers and not newts. he is a commercial plant grower, so he knows his fertilizers. mainly terrestrial, but aquatics are roughly the same, just different concentrations of each NPk. since his grower is an organic grower, they don't use any chemical fertilizers. what we agreed on was that nitrogen, for example, whether it be introduced via liquid, powdered, or naturally produced in waste from animals, is still nitrogen. not saying that nitrogen is nitrogen, but no matter how it gets to plant roots, the basic compound is virtually the same. the difference being that with powdered or liquid is pure, without all the added waste that comes with feces. i hope that makes sense.

wow, that got awful long, sorry about that. we tend to be a bit passionate about our fertilizers, they are kind of our life blood, so to speak, no ferts, no pretty plants...LOL

wow, i just read and i forgot to make the point. my point being that all animals are subjected to the same chemicals all the time, you are just increasing them slightly, but by no means to a toxic level. in fact, i have never heard of anyone overdosing their tanks with so many chemicals that they killed anything living in their tank.
