I did and the frog has nupital pads so that was my indication of a male. I just never knew the small physical differences between cranwelli and ornata. Now I know what to look for. I didnt even see the ID responses back in Nov. I had finals approaching and I was off this site for a few weeks. I actually never went back to see that post until now.
I posted a picture of "Muddy Waters" awhile back ago and I think someone had mentioned it may be a cranwelli, but that the picture was not sufficient enough to tell.
yea.I will get a pic tonight. I would love to get a second opinion, to be honest. I have been doing this frog thing for 2 years now and I have learned a substantial amount of information. A lot of the info I got from the pet store I briefly worked at ended up being false, so it is nice to have opinion from true frog experts.
In the first pic it shows 5" from Snout to Vent. he was quite active when I took the picture so it was hard to get it straight
A very nice Cranwelli though! love the coloring. Id love to grab him but I live in SoCal
These are the only pics I could get and they were extremely blurry
hopefully these are clear enough.
