    Lightbulb Exo Terra moss mat

Does anyone have any experience with the moss mat from Exo Terra:

Exo Terra : Moss Mat / Terrarium Substrate

Can it be used as a substrate for pacmans?

If you are referring to the washable reusable kind, No I would not recommend
    that kind of substrate.
Packmans ar a burrowing frog and it wouldn't be abel to.

it is more for inhabitants that don't burrow.
Eco-earht is much better from what I have read.

Some people keep their pac's on paper towels or foam which they can't burry into with out problems. Yeah it keeps them from exhibiting their natural burrowing but I don't see why you couldn't use it. I like the eco earth personally but it doesn't bother me that I can't see my frog at all during the day

I keep my snake on it.
But I wouldn't keep a pacman on it bc they just love to burrow so much.

If you are okay with your pacman not being able to burrow, then I don't see why not. But it looks like it would be difficult to keep damp without molding problems.

Ik keep mine on Exo Terra's plantation soil in combination with live moss, but the moss turns yellow after a while, so I was wondering if could use this instead.

that stuff is horrible. i would never use it for anyone who might hunt in their enclosures. it looks ok at first, then after you wash it the top part is starting to come off and for whoever is living in there it is disaster waiting to happen. With moss there is a high risk of impaction if ingested, with that stuff it is not just impaction waiting to happen, you're looking into real possibility to euthanize your frog.

get ecoearth or plantation soil and use it without any moss.

Don't use it. Your Pacman will try to burrow into the moss mat and become tangled in it. This product is not made for burrowing frogs.

Thanks for all the feedback, I'll stick to the combo I've been using for about ten years now :-)
