    Default Hi!

Hello, my name is Shelley and I am from Saskatchewan Canada. I have one fire belly toad that I purchased in June. He is a fat healthy toad who would devour any moving thing in his tank. For the past week he has shown no interest in the crickets at all, they can crawl all over him and he doesn't even notice. Now this is my question, we also have a kitten who loves sleeping on his tank and watching him, could the kitten be stressing him out? Or would it be something else?

    Welcome to Frog Forum!!

It is possible that the kitten could be stressing him, but as long as he is eating and active he should be fine. The moment he abruptly changes his behavior then it would be time to worry, but I will advise that you make sure their is no way the kitten could knock the lid off and get to your FBT. They are toxic and if the kitten was to bite the toad it could not only kill the frog, but could make your kitten sick or worse.
