Vocal Pac

Hey guys,

My newest pac is very very vocal! she is a 6-7 month old female and just chirps all morning long.
Is this an ok thing? Is it normal?

i think that's awesome. I have never heard of it being a bad thing. maybe she is just wants some attention or telling you she is hungry

Both male and female make noises. They both can grunt, growl, hiss, bark, and make popping/clicking comunicating sounds, but only the male produces the unmistakable mating call(croak). I have a very vocal femal Ceratophrys joazeirensis. She usually makes little chirps while she sleeps.

my female ornate is very vocal, but usually when she wants a bath or eat and she sees me, she never reacts in any way to anyone else.

Well here is a sort of update, I now have three of them that chirp and make all sorts of noise, sometimes they go back and fourth. its really the funniest things
