Alright so I plan on picking up a light bulb for heat (im thinking ReptiGlo 2.0?), and a thermometer/hygrometer. we have a mister to use that we use for our snakes. We also will be getting some spring water as well. The shop is giving us crickets, and they are coming with an exo-terra 12x12x18 (we plan to move up to the 18x18x24), the bottom layer of substrate is cypress mulch (i am going to get a brick of coco fiber asap) and on top is sphagnum moss. inside are two plastic plants (we will be switching to live asap as we can place the plant order), and a decent sized branch.
Question: do I still need to quarantine? if so for how long? we purchased a plastic bin to place them in for heavy cleaning. can this be used? or do i clean out the whole enclosure and use that?
**I'm new to this, but VERY eager to learn, I've constantly been reading threads and all I can on the internet, so I very much appreciate the advice, help, and criticism (be it blunt and/or constructive)!!! Thank you all!
Also, when we go to take them home, how do we transport them in the car? will they be okay if I hold the enclosure in my lap? Or do we put them in a smaller contianer for the car ride? Just want to keep their stress as minimal as possible. There are 2 btw. They are both about 1.5 inches, one may be a tad bit bigger. The one with lots of white spots is now known as Yoda, the one with one or two white spots is Qui-Gon JinnI'm so in love already!!!
