    Default Shelving units.

So here we are. I need a shelving unit that will hold my 5 of my 7 corn snakes, (yes i know this has nothing to do with frogs) any ideas on what I can get I need the space between the shelves to be at least 22" but no taller than 48" total. Any ideas, I have looked at Walmart, OfficeMax and Office Depot but to no avail.

    HALP MEH!!!

Have you looked online to see if you have a Habitat for Humanity Store? They get all kinds of furniture donations and you never know what you'll find for a great price. A few months ago, I found a mahognay TV stand with framed glass doors and casters that made the perfect stand for my tree frog tank (valued at $160, bought it at HHS for about $35!) And since things are cheep and second hand, their good to mod. Most HHS places have lumber, too, so you could build shelving into, say, a wardrobe or entertainment cabinet. Might have luck at thrift stores, too, and flea markets.

Costco, sam's club, bj's, home depot, lowe's. they all have comparable shelving. best way though, is build your own. then you can customize it to your needs. i keep telling myself that i am going to bring some steel home and weld up a shelving unit, but i'm too lazy to go through all that work after a long day at work. so i'll probably end up with something like Lynn has, but with steel grid shelves, for the weight capacity.
