Welcome first off! Haha. The best thing I can do is reccomend the care sheet found here Frog Forum - Pacman and Horned Frogs - Ceratophrys - Care and Breeding
You gotta decide what frog you want (I always reccomend Ornates, they are better feeders and don't turn turd brown....no offense crannie owners)
Get the enclosure set up and stable prior to getting your frog.....trust me, if your temps and humidity are effed up it will lead to a bad experience with pacs. They are super easy to cafe for comparatively, but you have to do your part and get a couple things just right.
The basics to follow:
A good varied diet; nightcrawlers and crickets as a staple. Anything else is a treat. Stay away from a lot of high fat items. Mammals of any kind should be fed rarely if ever. I give my frogs a young rodent every other month. I would recommend not feeding adult rodents ever. You need good calcium supplement with vitamin D3 (I recommend Miner-all from sticky tongue farms) fed every other feeding while the frog is young and once a week for adults. I feed every day or every other day for youngsters and three times a week for adults. I also feed a lot of dubia roaches but for it to be worth it I breed them myself.
Only use coco fiber (eco earth) as a substrate. Its the easiest and best for the frog. Follow the care sheet on how to use.
Look at the care sheet. If you have any questions please ask. There are a bunch of well versed frog
freaks on here (me included) always willing to help. These frogs are awesome, hope you end up with one and again, welcome to the forum.
