Good for you for doing research and not just taking the store clerks advice!!
hey everyone my names cody i live in canada and I recently bought 2 dyed ACF and am ashamed to say i didnt know anything about them untill i found this site after spending 2 days on it reading though the forums am buying a 20gallon tank for my guys and finding better food for them the guy i bought them from say they eat sinking fish food so i went and bough the frog and tadpole bits but am planning on switching to live food night crawlers/crickets and frozen blood worms as a treat seeing as i already have some ive just added photos of them in their 1 gallon tank to my albums
i plan on spending alot of time on here from what ive seen your all amazing people and i plan on talking to the store owner about his dyed frogs maybe convince him to get natural ACF's

Welcome! I am relatively new as well, but I do applaud you for your decision. Crickets can at times be quite the turnoff, but your frogs will definitely benefit and that's ultimately all anyone could ever want - a healthy frog, or frogs. I wish both you and your ACF's a good and prosperous time together and hope to see you around! I'm sure you'll find everything you are looking for here, especially in the ACF section.
Welcome to the Forum. It disturbs me greatly that they torture these animals so much just to try and make them look more appealing to customers. I think their beautiful without all the artificial colors. Glad you're doing your research.
Welcome to the forum.

Hi Cody, welcome to Frog Forum. I keep several ACFs and they are just wonderful. I am glad you are making an effort to stop the sale of dyed frogs and doing research. There are many unique traits and behaviors that makes ACFs unusual. Check out the Aquatic Frog threads. You should have many years of enjoyment.
