I haven't seen anyone mention Peperomia. I have 3 different ones in with my Pacific Chorus Frogs and they seem to love them.

I'm an official Peperomia cheerleader, with a particular love for Peperomia obtusifolia ​and other thick leaved versions. One of my plain green ones is up to 18" high and has been pruned relentlessly which has resulted in many thick 'branches'. Like a mini tree with perfectly sized leaves as perches for a mid sized treefrog.

They bloom like the end is nigh. Though these are unspectacular in the grand scheme of flowering things, they are noticeable and give a bit of variety so that's nice.

Also easy peasy to propagate by stem or leaf cuttings, so you can hand them out to strangers on the street.

The blooms I spoke of on a Peperomia caperata 'chocolate ripple' (as near as I can determine), a low growing bushy version that gives some cover on the ground,



Another terrific feature of Peperomias is they can handle having cramped roots, great for sticking in small background holes, or ignoring when it comes time to re-pot other plants.

My scandens just recently bloomed. I had heard it is very hard to get them to bloom but it now has 2 and possibly a third one trying to come out. No blooms on my obtusifolia yet but they are a good 16 inches tall and going to be trimmer very soon to start more. They are actually starting to grow sideways because they have grown taller than my lighting. I love the way they bloom, so unique and odd. I am going to try and start some from seed if I ever get my obtusifolia to bloom.

Maybe someday they will bloom in my terrarium once they can grow high enough to not be trimmed back every month or so.
