I am not sure about the brand you have. google the ingredients before putting it in with your frogs.
compost will be ok because it has a neutral pH. you want to make sure the pH does not get too acidic because this will burn them. Ideally people start with shredded newspaper and I would suggest you mix some in with the compost. just make sure if you use newspaper that your local print uses a soy based ink. you want to make sure you have proper drainage for your container because other wise your worms will drown. the juice collected from the worm bin should be thrown into your garden. they call this worm tea and it is packed with beneficial microbes.
dont throw in any fatty foods or dairy (although i have heard of some vermiculture farmers giving ice cream as a bi-weekly treat). stick to fruits and vegetables.
potatoes are good because they high a high glycemic index (GI) and will give your buggers a little sugar boost.
if you see white bugs on the food dont be alarmed. these will most likely be composting mites and will not harm your worms or food. they help with decomposition
    good luck!

I cant find any information on this product. I noticed on the bag that it says "No need to add lime or fertilizer" which implies that it may have lime and fertilizer already in it. before using it call the company and ask them about the chemicals added. to be safe use soy based ink newspaper for your worms and do not use this Gro-Quik with your frogs.
