    Default pinworms

Is there a alternative way to treat for pinworms aside from going to the vet? My wife works at a herp shop so i can get meds but wanted to know if theres any other way? I started gut loading my crix with new life spectrum which helps treat parasites does that help?

It won't be enough. See if she can get Panacur powder.

panacur is safe to use on amphibians by giving .1ml pur 100 grams of body weight using a syringe you inject a pray item i.e. pinky mouse earthworms or crickets then feeding it to your frog)

Easiest way to administer dewormer is by mixing up some Pacman Food and making a pouch out of the food and injecting the dose in the Pacman Food pouch then offer it to the frog. Works very well if the frog accepts Pacman food.

A vet can provide proper dosage for frogs under 100 grams.

A lot of dosing is once per week, but if the text said once every two weeks you can follow that and it should be ok.

Im going to add that one ml or drop by mouth once a week is the common dosage and is how my Vet reccomended treatment of frogs 50 grams or a little less. Get a Vets reccomendation before treating to be safe.

thanks grif that helps alot. so what i did was i diluted a drop off panacur with 3 drops of water and gave the frog a drop of that, cant be too safe better to underdose than overdose. and the frog is still alive this morning so i think the frog will be ok, it seems more active this morning.
