Heh. After work, I come home and spend about an hour giving everyone water and food. Cleaning cages takes about two hours a week. It isn't difficult. All of the geckos eat the same food, so I mix a batch up once a week..it stores well.

I got a few of my pets while I worked at pet stores, but I've also taken in some rescues, and most of my geckos were bought to breed, though a few are just pets. About half of my geckos are babies I will be putting up for sale in a few months.

The darts won't be happening for several months. I'm buying live plants for the bigger tank and I'm going to give them time to grow and figure out how to keep them alive. Unfortumately, I did not inherit my dad's green thumb.

I don't have a green thumb either, but so far my plants are doing awesome. I guess the secret to my success is light and high humidity. I have a piece of plate glass that covers most of the tank's top. I block the opening that that the glass does not cover with paper towels to prevent fruit fly escape and allow some ventilation. Humidity is between 80 & 90%. My $3 bromeliads that I bought on whim have out grown the tank and are flowering. My oak-leaf ficus is beginning to spread all over the place and various ferns have popped up out of nowhere. I am very proud of this little tank (5 gallon) and I wish I had the room for more just like it, only bigger so I can put in more darts.
