Hello-
I just joined this forum, I decided to because I found it in yahoo search and found it very informative. I recently acquired a red eye tree frog, and have been researching how to properly care for it. I have found a lot of good and helpful information but want to learn more, any advice, tips and care info would be most appreciated. I have him in a regular twenty gallon tank right now, but I think purchasing a exo-terra or zoomed terrarium would be a better way to go. Right? I ordered a few things to improve Hewitt's(the frog) tank like proper substrate for live plants and some fake plants. I have seen a lot of nice tank setup pictures, so I have a much better idea on how to keep my frog happy. Red eyes are beautiful frogs and I want to treat him properly so he can live a long, happy life. Thanks for any help!!

Temperature, humidity and a nice tall tank are important to this species, as they are arboreal frogs. Be sure to get a good hygrometer (measures humidity) and thermometer.

I just bought a exo-terra tank today from Petsmart, it was on sale. I got the tall, 18x18x24, seems like a good size for him. I am excited to set it up and have a beautiful habitat in my room.
