Hello!I am Teigan, I have joined "The Frog Forum" with my 4 little Spadefoot toadlets, which are my first pet frogs ever. I live in Mesa, Arizona and have had the little guys since about the 1st of September. My boyfriend caught/rescued my little toads on a rainy day and I knew nothing about them. I have kept them alive and happy(well I think). I hope to aquire any information about them I can. Anyway, hello to all this is my introduction. Thank you!
I really would like to know everything about these Couch Spadefoots, I mean im pretty sure they are completely healthy But I need to know what to look for as far as illnesses, dehyrations etc. They live in a tank, in their little underground burrows they come out to eat, for a soaking etc. I love these toadlets!

Spadefoots are one of my favorite locals. I do not keep them as pets, but I hear great plains spadefoots around my house during breeding season. Unfortunately, there isn't much information about their captive care. Maybe there will be someone on the forum that can help you.
