On re-using a old anole water dish (my aunt gave them away.) I'm currently washing it with hot water? Will this be sanitary for my pyxie?

if it is made of plastic and washed in hot water it should be okay. (to be totally sure you could use some bleach then rinse it in hot water for a while until you dont smell the bleach anymore) but it doesnt matter what kind of dish you use as long as it holds water and can be easily cleaned anything will work. my frog, Mr.Pickles, loves to drop off some nasty dooses that reek if left to float around in the water dish. i am talking about tear jerking. i wonder if there is any money in frog diapers?

I don't know about the froggie diaper thing, I would much rather wash a water dish than I would try to wipe a frog butt. LOL

Wash with bleach if you like. As stated just rinse well with declorinated water. Another option I use is a vinegar water solution. I also got a pet cleaner that works well. It says you can use it even when your pet isin the cage (I still remove them), and is all natural cleaner.

you are totally right! i think of alot of good ideas that could make millions of dollars until i think about it for a while. frog diapers are a pretty bad idea!
can you amagine people using a changing table in a restroom for their frog. the looks from onlookers would be hillarious

yeah, or even better a heat rock diaper where you could let the frog jump around in the snow for a while the cord would be the leash. its kind of like those people who put a harness on their cat so it can go outside. this is getting stupied really quick!

Like deedub said vinegar works really well, you should try to let stuff sit in the vinegar solution for about 30 mins ideally, just rinsing stuff off with it won't do much.
