I know my frogs were hugging for what seemed like FOREVER with no results. Finally after they matured enough (at least this is what I am assuming), I noticed the one female (who I originally thought was male LOL) started getting very bloated to the point where I was paranoid about dropsy. Well low and behold one night I came home to find eggs....I'm talking a TON of eggs. If it happens you will DEF notice it. If you find just little white circles in the water they are unfertilized, if they are half brown/half white and covered in a jelly-like substance, you should have taddies in no time. Important thing is to have a separate beta tank or something on hand so you can move them before they get eaten....if you are going to attempt to raise them, it's hard! but worth a try Hope this was helpful!
