I have him in my living room without an air conditioner. I'll have to try the cycled water and see if that helps any. My vet said he has enema and gave me some solution to soak him in and baytril to squirt on his back twice a day. I hope the sweling starts to go down soon!

Dont make ammonia too high on the water or it would cause your toad to act weird like mine! and hope my toad and your toad gets well soon.

Does anyone know how long a fbt stays bloated for when they are shedding? I just pulled something long and slimy off of him.. I think he could be shedding but hes been bloated for over a month.

It only takes a frog a few minutes to shed and bloated for a month means that something is wrong. Could be a bacterial infection or something causing an Osmotic imbalance. Maybe even Edema. Even parasites can cause bloating. Is it a hard or soft bloat? Does it feel like fluid or air?

My vet said it was probably edema but when I soaked him in the solution she gave me, the swelling didn't go down. She gave me some antibiotics for parasites too just in case. It is soft bloat, probably retaining too much water. She said something about maybe kidney disease, but I am definitely hoping that isn't the case

Try the antibiotics and see if they help

I had to put him to sleep today I woke up this morning and he had this large bubble hanging about an inch out of his mouth. He is in a much better place now. Thank you to everyone who replied on here. I really appreciate it.
