    Default Female?

Alright so I believe my fbt is a female but I wanna hear what all you guys think.

The webbing on the back feet only goes partially up the toes. It's back is covered with smooth bumps not rough looking ones. And I have been playing the sound of other male fbts calling and it does not vocally respond

That video didn't really show anything. But from looking at some other posts the bumps on males have a rougher pimple look and this one has smooth bumps

So I haven't seen nuptial pads but have heard it chirp a couple times, is it possible that it's a younger male that just hasn't gotten pads yet or can the females chirp too?

looks female to me! And yes females do the "vibration" chirp sound. Honestly the best way to tell is to have another one. The ones that grab and try to mate are obviously male that's how I found out about my two. That and Monster is the only one who does the mating call I've only heard Mercy do the vibration chirp .

Just a couple of differences between these two. Mercy has longer spots than Monster. She also has fatter arms and is just overall bigger than he is. He is obnoxiously frisky and loud sometimes. He "barks" and she "chirps".

    I really hope this helps

I've been leaning towards thinking it was female but it threw me off when it chirped, didn't know if the females made any noise. it was only a singe chirp each time not the repetitive calling like I've heard in videos of males. No room In the current tank for a friend for her. It's just a little 12x12x12 cube. but should be upgrading to a bigger tank with some friends in the near future
