Yeah I'm sure they do love to hunt and have been letting it hunt dubia nymphs on the land section. The reason I want to tong train it, is so I can add night crawlers to its diet. The chunks of nightcrawlers cut small enough for a fbt don't really move enough to draw out that hunters instinct.

On a side note... I got larger rocks and branch I'm in the process off Sterilizing that will go in the tank shortly when I do my partial water change. I added a small ceramic vase and a small terracotta pot both turned on their sides in his water section. Hes love hiding in them and also climbs up on top of them to jump down into the water.

My fire belly toad will eat his nighcrawler by like this, cut the nightcrawler up and it will wiggle so fast and move or run away and your toad will eat it up!they love nightcrawlers.
