    Cool Question about dwarf

Hey guys, wats up. I'm getting my second african bullfrog, I'm thinking about get a dwarf this time. I have seen a lot pics about them, they look so qute in sub adult phase. However as far as i know lots of reptiles have awesome colour when they were young and lose the bright colour after they fully grown up. Dose that happend to dwarf as well? Any pics? thx.

As far as african bullfrogs go, the dwarves seem to retain a lot more color into adulthood than the giants.

The first of these is an adult dwarf the second is an adult giant. Note how the dwarf maintains some of its pattern into adulthood while the giants fades.
Also, dwarves tend to have stronger coloration around the front legs, belly, face and throat.

While they don't look a WHOLE lot different as babies, they're pretty easy to tell apart if you know what to look for.
Baby giants are more colorful than the baby dwarves.

Hope this helped at least a little!!

I have had my dwarf for quite some time now bought him just about fully grown and has not lost a lick of color. Looking into a tank they look like an average frog with all the dirt on em but when they shed or take a swim the color just bursts off there throat here is a pic of Big Moe!

there is one way that would help you get a male. buy 3 and cross your fingers.
If my pixie turns out to be a female i am going to sell her and buy 3 different ones. i have found out that alot of people put babies of the same size together. then when one is noticably a male i will sell the others and everyone is happy. growing them is the hard and expensive part. everyone loves a healthy sub-adult and will buy them quickly even if they are female. i wonder if someone mated a pacman and a pixie together if the female babies would get bigger?
why wasnt that question asked at the last presidental debate?
