Some uvb light causes eye problem on reptiles. has anyone herd of this? are frogs affected by this? any reports? i recently changed my whites treefrogs light from a regular 15w bulb to a uvb reptisun 5.0. the affect of as he hides from the light of the uvb, his irises are moreand white, almost like straining i reduced the light by covering 70%. i dont want his eyes to swell from straining. he was ok with the 15w bulb and my rooms fluoresences.

UV Lighting for Reptiles: A new problem with high UVB output fluorescent compact lamps and tubes?
Frogs don't need UVB and apparently the bulb is too bright for his eyes. Remember, treefrogs are nocturnal and use a much lesss intense bulb. Save the UVB for the turtles and lizards.
Also, your colors aren't showing for some reason. So could you go to your profile and put your country and location in? Thanks for your cooperation in this matter.
thanks... what kind of light do you think i should use?pets brand? regular 20watt will do? i use a heat pad for heat source.
