this is my pixies home. i have to totally clean it every week and clean the water dish almost everyday. it eats every 2 days. but it is totally worth it! but what is the hardest frog to house and maintain?
it must be a goliath frog. (i will just talk to myself)
i don't think there is a clear cut answer to this one. too many variables involved. the main one being the skill level of the care giver. some people may find a pyxie a lot of work, while others may find it a joy. some people have a lot of time on their hands, others do not. personally, i think the most difficult frog to house and care for is whatever one is giving me the problems at the moment. when everything is going good, they are all a dream!!LOL

Hey matt, this is off topic, but did you ever sex your pyxie?
That helmeted water toad or whatever it is in the toad forum seems like a nightmare.

just looked that frog up, pretty cool looking. what is the major hassel with these guys?
it said these things can get very large, 8 - 20 inches and 1.1lbs. that is pretty cool!
it said also as adult they eat birds, i had a nasty parrokeet when i was younger that i would have fed to a cool frog if i could of![]()
can you breed a pixie with a horned frog?
