    Default what is this?

Any chance you checked the ingredients in the generic version?

It should start to fade at the edges. Should not get worse.

Try giving Dr. Frye a call and an emailed photo. Being Christmas is coming and their office will likely be closed for the weekend and the holiday, I'd call him today to get the meds in mail today so you can get it by Friday or Saturday.

I would treat the plants with a very mild diluted bleach dip followed by a thorough rinse.

the only ingredients it gives on the tube is light mineral oil and white petrolatum and on front it says contains bacitracin, neomycin sulfate, polymyxin B sulfate

I thought if something gets inflammed i can mean its working and the bodies fighting agianst it, but then agian that prolly for humans and not amphibians.....
ill talk to mom about calling Dr. Frye, we have a good vet locally to if hes out of the office.
