Hi
Im recently new to keeping frogs but have become so fascinated about frogs and will be looking at one day to perhaps getting a different species(in a different tank of course). Whats the difference between Phantasmal and a golden mantella in the way that it is kept etc. Which one would you suggest would be a better start.
I don't know a lot about golden mantellas, but phantasmals are great starter dart frogs.
Mantellas are great, they to be very terrestrial and slightly harder to breed (although not really). Many mantellas like it a little cooler as well, although not that cool.
Phantasmals are equally as awesome, will use the whole tank, and if set up right will breed pretty easily for you. Plus, they're usually cheaper.
