Spoiled Brat Pacman frogs!

Hello Everyone,

I recently aquired 4 pacman frogs. 2 of them are about the size of a quarter, one is three months and can fit in the palm of my hand and the other one is a year old and HUGE.

The problem is the larger ones are spoiled, the guy at the reptile store claims they will only eat mice and its true!
mealworms, waxworms, Crickets, roaches, they reject them all! My 2 little dudes are pretty good eaters, I ordered them online.

My question is how can I get them to eat other foods? from what I here eating mice to often can be bad for them. I did get my three month old Albino to get 1 feeder fish but thats pretty much it.

Try not feeding it for a couple days. Soak it and then try the crix or earthworms u might have to tong feed the earthworm. You got any pics id love to see them!

i would withhold food for some time and try tong feeding some roachs ive got the same problem with a pac that i own and he will eat when hes hungry

thanks everyone. Im going to try the crickets again tonight. My little babies eat like there is no tomorrow

You can try using tongs to rub the food against their lips. It might take a few minutes, but when they start to scrunch up and swipe the tongs away with their feet you know they're about to get fed up and bite it. After a time or two of that they usually realize that whatever is on the tongs is food and go for it with no problem.

Thanks guys. My two bigger guys still won't eat. Im going to give each of them a nice soak tonight. Other then not eating them seem pretty happy. My two little guys will eat like there is no tomorrow!
