    Default Help with new enclosure

    Hi
I've had two golden tree frogs for around 2 months now and i am looking to upgrade to a bigger tank. As i know with my species it has to be quite humid and so far with a glass terrarium it has been working although harder to keep control of temperatures. I have had a look and saw this viv Vivexotic Viva Arboreal Vivarium Small: Oak for only £107.24 Reptile Centre .

Although as its wooden would the humidity make it go all funny inside or would this be alright as i want to give the frogs a much bigger space even though according to a few shops in my area they have plenty of space at the moment.

    Thanks

more space is never a bad thing. my only concern would be the seams. from reading the ad, it's a piece of knock down furniture, like Ikea makes. that means the sides are made of, most likely, vinyl laminated pressboard. i would be concerned that with high humidity, water will seep into the seams and swell the pressboard. if the sides and bottom are laminated on all edges, then it should be good. good luck and let us know what you decide on. btw, that is one really nice piece of furniture though
